I know Tom personally. I know how he has only recently acquired the equipment to make him a photographer. I also know that he doesn't just take photographs; he captures scenes. Thanks to his borderline obsession with cinema from dark & twisted or beautiful & mysterious minds, Tom's ability to place you in the moment is super evident through all of the photos you find here, on his Flickr page. One flick through his photostream depicts a restless imagination and complete inspiration with his new medium. For me its the way each rectangle he composes holds such humanity. Maybe its because he's excitable. Or maybe its because he isn't a purist; leaving everything open to suggestion. I think it's because he rocks.
