I am a professional photographer specializing in diversity.

I have been shooting film, motion and still, seriously since 1969. Professionally since 1972. I thought I would use my Flickr presence to explore my autobiography through my life in photography.

I started out shooting news film for a WRBT in Baton Rouge, LA. After a short stint in a bad work environment(80 hr a week fixed salary) with extreme daily pressure. We had to shoot two stories, get the film in processor by 1 PM, Edit and preview story by the 6 PM news ,5 days a week. The experience was grueling for 4 months, but better than a degree from any film school. Then switched to WAFB in Baton Rouge shooting commercials on 16mm film. A great place with great supportive people. In 1977, I took a sabbatical ,went to Australia to shoot a doc on Marlin Fishing. After 6 months in Irian Jaya, Australia and New Zealand I came back to New Orleans and started freelancing.
