The Trail of Broken Promises is a primarily on-foot journey through 50 towns until Washington, DC, in an effort to save the Wakarusa Wetlands by drawing attention to sacred places all over the country. The piece of draft legislation we carry is called the Protection of Native American Sacred Places Act.
