I got into photography by necessity: I liked taking pictures all the time, but stumbled into the real thing by accident. In my civilian service (alternative to military service in germany) I somehow found myself as a press photographer for a huge charity organization with lots of events going on that needed press coverage. After a year doing that I learned how to control a camera and a bit of what makes an image work and what doesn't. Since then I am mainly a generic hobby-photo guy who takes pictures for fun or does some little projects.
