A Glassblower by trade , but a happy snapper in my free time. Have used a film camera until quite recently (Minolta X300 ), but now have an Canon Ixus 860 IS, which I love. hoping to invest in a DSLR in the next year or so, after dipping my toe into a photographic course at Uni & swiftly taking it out again. Far too technical for my meagre brain. They pushed Nikon, but am still unsure which brand to go for....Many swear by Canon. Love taking photographs of Architecture, both modern & run down villas & barns, as well as geometric patterns. But take a wide variety of landscapes & other subjects. Photoshop is a mystery to me, so i have to rely on the basic adjustments applications that came with my Canon.
