Taken up this hobby in 2005 when my other half bought me my first Nikon D70s, a great Nikon camera that is still my darling till today. Won a couple of contests and did a couple of assignments which more of less offset the amount we invested in the camera as well as the many lenses that follows.

Began dwelling into the hobby whilst doing my PhD in Biological Sciences in Singapore's Nanyang Technological University (NTU) (Wonder if I should have gotten a Doctor of Photography (instead of Philosophy). Although Singapore is a small country, the diversity of the fauna and floral really makes up for it.

Currently am based in San Diego's University of California, San Diego (UCSD) doing my postdoctoral training. Its a great place, and more photo opportunities! Stay tuned
