I've been known to refer to myself as a "budding amatuer photographer". I've done some minor shoots with close friends and family consisting of senior portaits, birthday parties and small private weddings. Everyone seems to really like my work but, of course, I'm my own biggest critic.

For a long time I held fast to my film camera not wanting to succumb to the digital craze, but finally gave in. Now I absolutely LOVE my Canon T3i!

I've been a cheater though all these years by only using presets on my camra and never learning the basics.

That's what I'm doing now. Starting with the bare bones basics and working my way up. I have to admit, the volume of information out there is a bit overwhelming but I am slowly sorting through it all and my practice sessions are going to begin.
