It's hard to discribe myself, because I keep changing. Formerly Hellbound, now bound for glory. Had long hair. Now shaved off. I always said I'd never get married. I've been divorced now since September of 2014. Who knows what God will change tomorrow. Maybe there's someone else out there waiting for me. or maybe, as I suppose, there isn't.

Two of my biggest hobbies are music and photography. I'm still fairly new to photography. Always looking to learn something new. I was using a Fujifilm finepix s1000fd. It's classified as a "point n' shoot," but I tell people that it has the soul of a DSLR. It has 10 megapixels and a 12x optical zoom, and if you need to get closer than that you can also use digital. Because of the high resolution, you can actually afford to use the digital a little bit and not lose too much quality.

In addition to that, I've recently crossed over into the realm of dslr cameras. I bought a Nikon d3000. I have one lens for it. an old nikkor 35-80 mm zoom lens. this lens works well for general purposes, but I'm looking to build an arsenal.

And as much as I hate to admit it, my smart phone actually does take good shots. it's a Samsung galaxy note 5. There are times when I wish I had my camera but I don't. But I almost always have my phone.

Ever since I was just a boy, I've always loved guitars. My cousins all played country and bluegrass, and when I was in fifth grade I started to get into rock music, and early on I wanted to be Eddie Van Halen. The names changed over time, but I knew I wanted to play guitars in rock and metal bands. I got my first electric guitar when I was a junior in high school, and it took off from there. My favorite guitars from seventh grade on were B.C.Rich Warlocks, though I didn't know at the time that that's what they were called. Now, much to my wife's dismay, my son Jeremiah has inherited my love for guitars and rock music.

I have to thank/blame for getting me hooked on Flickr and getting me hooked on photography in general.
