In the early 60's my father bought a large old house in a quaint, riverside town, with dreams of turning it into what we now know as a bnb. Left in the attic of the house were many exquisite antiques and several small boxes of vintage postcards, which were kept undisturbed and unnoticed until the 90's. Since then the love of deltiology has slowly developed into a full appreciation of history, and art.

I am particularly interested in women of the early 1900's, and to be more specific the signed artist postcards. My favorites are Kirchner, Mauzan, Nanni, especially Nouveau and Deco. In 2004 I was thrilled to visit the old area of Prague and find a lovely small shop, plus many other ones with many beautiful cards. Since then I have continued to collect bits here and there. I also like humor and animals in cards. I have a wide variety of cards which I am fond of. I have collected through travels and online, but the simple exploration through shops is the most rewarding and pleasing.
