Videomaker _ Video artist based in Dakar

Graduated in 2000 at the École des Beaux-Arts de Gênes with research on “The art social role traditional cultures of Western Africa”. Her master's degree in «Architecture for the Performing Arts» marked the beginning of a series of creations in scenography for dance, theater and video installations till today.

In 2003, Tiziana began traveling to Western Africa and decided to settle in Dakar. Her research, developed in different African countries, fill her images and video creations. Over time she participates in numerous projects with artists from the continent and diaspora. At the same time, she training in documentary filmmaking.

She practices today experimental video creating installations, interactive works and performances that propose singular visual experiences.

Parallel to artistic projects, she collaborates with international organizations and chains for the creation of cultural reports.

From 2019 she works on the project of the audiovisual archive restauration of the Direction du Cinema, Ministere de la Culture et du Patrimoine Histoirque (Sénégal), with her long-time colleague Marco Lena, restoring films and creating an international partnership network, like with the Cineteca di Bologna Foundation, and The Film Foundation of Martin Scorsese.
