I found myself suddenly single at sixty and decided to do what I've long wanted: travel the US and see every beautiful, weird, and interesting thing this country has to offer.

I'm volunteering at National Parks:

Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona for a total of nine months in 2013 and 2014;

Andersonville National Historic Site in Georgia for two months in 2013;

the North Rim of the Grand Canyon for four months in the summer of 2014;

Tumacácori National Historical Park in Arizona for 2 months in 2014;

and now at Death Valley National Park until April 2015. It's a great way to live.
