Late to flickr, self taught, so far, and after many failed attempts, for many reasons, I am now very much giving photography priority over other interests. I am using an old Nikon D700 and a 24 - 70 f2.8 lens. Most of the photos I have taken I would not attempt to inflict them on anyone, but the learning curve is rising and I feel very comfortable with my camera equipment now.......I just need to add a few items shortly, and one has got to be a tripod.

Feel free to comment on my photos...I v'e got a thick shell, will not be offended and I will take all comments on board, but not to heart. Life's too short and the Guinness is too good.

Ok, its now 2015 and I have added a much awaited Gitzo Tripod to my kit. This one I won't be letting out of my sight.

The story continues....slowly...very slowly. It is now April 2017 and I have finally said farewell to my much beloved D700, but technology waits for no one or so it seems. My new buddy is a Nikon D810 and its proving to be a bit of a beast!!. I am having lots of fun with the menus.
