Hi, I'm Tina, I work in the Aerospace industry which is really very busy. I don't have a lot of time for photography, but it's what I love to do when I have free time. It's my way of relaxing and feeling creative. I love capturing real moments and love portraits that portray feeling and depth.

I am 'almost' married.......We just celebrated our 8 year anniversary, very happy and settled, but who has the time to plan a wedding! lol...I have a 23 year old son (Gabriel), and an 18 year old daughter (Naomi) and a beautiful Granddaughter (Illiana 7 months old)

Both my children's baby pics and growing up pictures were taken with throw away cameras for the most part.......I was never 'into' photography but did have picture albums for the kids and did capture memories. But I am so bummed that I was not able to capture them like I can now with my granddaughter and neice.

My interest started in photography when I started scrapbooking. I guess I could blame my sister for this obsession, lol.....She was a consultant for CM and the better your pictures are, the better your pages turned out. I started 'documenting' things I would have never thought to take pictures of on vacation....signs, plants, interesting things non people related using a film camera.....then came the first digital. A Fuji P & S....When that became limiting, and I wanted to learn more about photography, the 'hubby' bought me the D50 for my birthday........fast forward to now.........I recently upgraded to the D300, use only Nikkor lenses and the journey continues......I read about it every day and while I am working I wish I was out shooting!

I have no intention of going into business, but every intention of bettering my skills and understanding of photography. My participation might be a little limited on this forum as I have been putting many hours in at work, but I really look forward to sharing and learning on Flickr.
