Tim is a planner, designer, and educator working to strengthen relationships among people and their environment. He has practiced as a city and regional planner, landscape and urban designer both internationally and domestically. He is a musician, and has also worked as a farmer, designer-builder, graphic artist, entrepreneur, and general problem-solver. His scholarly work bridges environmental science, design, and philosophy as they pertain to social change. Tim holds a PhD from Yale, degrees from MIT and Penn State, and lives in Montpelier, Vermont.
