For me photography is not so much art but documentation of great places, nice moments, achievements of life, and so on. Still it's always fascinating if you can turn an ordinary shot somehow special, even artistic.
My first camera of second-hand Ricoh bought me by my father. It had a normal lens (50 mm) and a zoomable lens (75-200mm) and was a good camera which taught me a lot about photography. Later I bought Canon PowerShot A70 and it served me well until electronics started to play up. Nowadays I have Nikon D40 which reopened a wonerful world of SLR photography.
