I have been an amateur photographer for 35 years. I did significant 35mm SLR (Pentax ESII) shooting and my own black and white developing in the early 80s, briefly moved to horrible disc film cameras for a short time, then back to 35mm SLR. I replaced my old Pentax camera with a lens-compatible Zenit 12 in the late 80s which was my primary camera until 2006.

I fell into the parent trap point-and-shoot Canon cameras for a long time which really did nothing for my shooting style or photo quality. In 2006 my girls got me a Digital SLR (Fuji) and I gave away all my 35mm stuff to an art student.

In October 2012 after seeing a resurgence of 35mm film online on Flickr and other places I bought a 70s Canonet QL17 G-III from a local friend and have fallen in love with film all over again. Many shots here I post in the Canonet groups and it has a lot of my focus.

DSLR right now is a Nikon DS-3200.

I do portraits and such for friends, lots of nature, architecture and street photography and some of the local sports teams and clubs. Most of my photos are Oxford Ohio, Miami University, or trips.

I also do woodworking, especially custom storage crates, Japanese tool boxes.
