Tim Irvin has worked as a field biologist and wilderness guide in places like the grizzly bear territory of the Great Bear Rainforest, the lynx country of north eastern USA, the boreal forest of Ontario and polar bear regions of Hudson’s Bay.
As an avid wilderness traveller, Tim has paddled and hiked over vast sweeps of the Northwest Territories, Yukon, Nunavut, Ontario and British Columbia – most notably on three arctic canoe expeditions, including a seven week solo trip in 2008.
Tim’s photos have appeared in Canadian Geographic Traveller, The Globe and Mail, Photo Life (upcoming),The Ottawa Citizen, Arctic Inspired: A Tribute to the Tundra, The Georgia Straight, The Seaside Times and numerous reports and calendars.
