26 year old photographer from Christchurch, New Zealand of Indo-Fijian heritage. I fist got interested in photography in 2004 after mucking around with Dad's Canon 10D. He eventually bought me my first DSLR (a Canon 300D), and a couple of upgrades later I am now shooting with a Canon 40D.

 

In 2008 I was one of 16 photogaphers in New Zealand to gain an Honours (LPSNZ - Licentiateship) with the Photographic Society of New Zealand (PSNZ), being 1 of only 4 to get a honors (LPSNZ/APSNZ/FPSNZ) with a Projected Image (Digital) set - the first year this was introduced.

Later in 2008 I went on to win the Ray Barlin award for top amatuer photographer under 25 years of age, with my "White Faced Heron" Image Following these succeses, I then formed my own company, "Timages Photography Limited" and now with some spare time on my hands I look forward to progressing the business.
