2 I live on two boats on the Grand Union Canal just north of London

3 On the night of 27 December 2003 I slipped and knocked myself senseless on the roof of my boat, as I fell I snapped a tendon in my right arm ... not sure how long I was dangling unconscious between my boats, waist deep in the freezing canal

4 I am a freelance illustrator. I make book jackets and magazine covers and do a little web design too. Photography plays an important part in my work ... and I do it for pleasure too

15 I love good wine but drink far, far too much of the cheap stuff. When it's really cold outside I warm red wine on the stove 'til it's steaming

16 I have learned from my mistakes and am confident I could repeat them exactly
