If Tagore remains one of the most famous Indian Poet of all the times, if Ravi Shankar is one of the nicest Sitar player, I can say that Tilak Haria is the last poet of India that composes his lyrics using as Sitar his photo camera. He composes his lyrics before in his mind and than, using a stupid camera, gives us the opportunity of admiring his creative status. The paintings if India he gives us are not those usual phototourists that million of people are going and taking in India. He is giving us a more intimate vision of a very great Country and if He sometime lingers over the great Indian temples we admire for their magnificence, often our eyes linger over some smaller aspect that qualify his eyes of mind. In portraiture comes out the other original look of the Tilak’s vision. No stereotyped pictures but the feeling of a great, ancient people that grows spontaneously showing great dignity and pride for his millenary history. Personally I learn something new and interesting every time I look at the Tilak’s photostream and it is a great honour for me to be one more Tilak’s testimonial
