Tiffany Chao is an FIT student from New York. Her true passion for photography started in 2006, when she went to Junior High School for Media. She started off with darkroom work, evolving like the times did to digital. She has learned a variety of programs from Final Cut Express to being self-taught in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.

In 2009, Tiffany moved onto High School winning an “Arts Connections” Award for one of her pieces. Throughout the rest of her high school career, she has won multiple Arts Connections Awards, Recognition in The Congressional Art Competition along with Scholastic’s prestigious National Gold Medal and Regional Gold Key in 2011. She recently won an Honorable Mention from Scholastic 2013 for her photography portfolio. Through social networks, publications have asked her to work for them and she has photographed many bands at concerts.

Other experience includes designing “2013 Perspectives” book cover, graphic designs for publicity in NYC public schools, photographing senior portraits and birthday parties, “Humans of Pinecrest”, self-made non-profit organization “The You Are… Movement”, Music In Visual promotional photography for bands and event photography for a restaurant on Long Island.
