TIFF (Tiffany Barrett) born in Nassau, Bahamas, was introduced at the tender age of 8 to the art of batik at St. Andrews School where she obtained her early education.

TIFF has always possessed an unparalleled love for nature and the outdoors. She was twice nominated for The Bahamas’ most prestigious tourism industry award, ‘The Cacique’ for her work in Nature/Eco-Tourism. TIFF had guided the 4-wheeling off-road, powerboat and snorkeling adventure tour herself until an untimely, unrelated automobile accident robbed her of this heartfelt pleasure. As a result TIFF now lives her passion for nature and island life through her art which allows her to share her personal experiences of the ‘Bahamian Outback’, marine creatures and landscapes largely inspired from her constant reflections on her Island Adventure experiences.

TIFF’s creations have been exhibited in art galleries in Harbour Island, Bahamas and Lyford Cay, Bahamas. Her art can also be found in specially commissioned private collections in the United States, Paradise Island, Lyford Cay and throughout The Bahamas. She was commissioned in 2004, 2005 and 2008 by the Freeport branch of Bahamas Air Sea Rescue Association (BASRA) to create the prizes for its annual swim races.

Self taught, TIFF captures the kaleidoscope of colors reflected in her native Bahamian environment in her typically unique style. Her work reflects the vivid images captured in her mind’s eye with such a display of intense real color and depth, and, along with her unique paint/batik process, has resulted in the description of her creations as “TIFFOGRAPHS”.
