We live in New York on a very small peninsula named Eatons Neck on the north shore of Long Island, about 40 miles east of New York City. Chris and I moved to New York about 12 years ago. I have been very fortunate marrying into such an awesome and loving family, what could have been miserable, leaving my family, was more like finding new family. We began building our home about 4 years ago and it has been the project of our life, a true labor of love. We love living in Eatons Neck and have met a group of friends that have become family to us. We have 2 cats, Coal and Lizzie, they are pains in the butt and think the house belongs to them, we also have a pond of koi, goldfish and tadpoles (Chris wants frogs....) Eventually we will add to the menagerie with a couple dogs.

Chris works at the college running the physics engineering technology lab...the benefits job and is still heavily involved in the apartment buildings in Brooklyn. I have "retired" from Automotive Service Management and now contract myself to a couple GM dealers processing their warranty claims...my own hours, no customer stress, still get to flex my muscles, and can play with the boys and cars. Love It, should've done it years ago!

I miss San Diego daily, maybe even hourly on some days, I miss family constantly. We have built a great life in NY and eventually we will be back there at least part of the year.
