I am a husband of one wife and a father of three beautiful girls. Professionally, I am the Executive Pastor at Calvary Chapel The Way in Yorba Linda, CA. I also serve as the Music Minister there.

I spent much of my childhood living in Okinawa, Japan, where my parents were missionaries. My wife is Ugandan and grew up in Kenya. We met in college, and are currently raising our family in Southern California.

My oldest photos represent the moment that I discovered the joy of photography, but also knew absolutely nothing of the mechanics of photography or basic composition! I was simply looking for a way to share my photos with family. I started out by purchasing a point-and-shoot, and upgraded to a DSLR in 2008. Upon discovering flickr, I realized that there are tremendous creative possibilities in photography. I have tried to improve my photography since joining flickr.

Although I earn a little extra income from photography on the side, the purpose of most of what I post is to keep extended family and friends up to date with what is happening in our lives.
