Majority of my photos have been taken on a Canon Digital SLR 400D with a standard 18-55mm lens; the most I could carry comfortably travelling round the world for two months. I have now sold that and got myself a Canon Digital SLR 40D with a Canon EF-S 17-85mm IS USM lens. I would not classify myself as serious photographer as you need to roam around with a tripod to be one ;-)
As mentioned, all the photos have been taken without a tripod even the long exposure ones; so far I have just improvising with what is available around me. For example, the lightning strike shot (below) in Penang was from the top floor of our hotel balcony with bricks to elevate the camera at the right height and then left the shutter on timer. I need to get a decent tripod though to start some multiple exposure shots for HDR merges.
Most of my interesting captures are in the Fav set:

The rest are pretty much a travel log of where I have been (and include a lot of captures from my ancient 4MegaPixel Kodak digital camera bought in 2002, still working), which is best viewed on my World Map:

Enjoy.

Why THX911 name tag?
Well Kish was already taken on flickr, so I have used my gamer and forum tag.
THX is the letters part of George Lucas' first movie THX1138 and also the name of his sound standards company and 911 is from being a Porsche owner.
