I am essentially a Leeds based people and wildlife photographer. I am passionate about photographing weddings because you are part of and capturing one of the most significant events in a couple's life. My favourite part of the wedding is when I can take pictures of just the bride and groom together.

Portrait photography is fun and helps me develop as wedding photographer. I enjoy trying to capture a person's personality and finding their best angle. I specialise in performers especially musical.

I can also be found photographing wildlife especially butterflies and birds.

I have been interested in photography for a number of years (since I was got my first camera age about 12) but it was not until recently that I have been able to really indulge myself.

I bought my first digital compact camera in 2005 (Canon IXUS 500) and never looked back. In June 2007 I bought a Nikon D40. Since then I have been taking photos practically every week.

I now use a Nikon D300, D700 and a Pansonic Lumix LX3 for when I want to travel light . I also have a range of lens. Since August 2008 I have been semi-pro.
