I have lived in South Western Ontario my whole life, but have driven across Canada several times. You have no idea just how big (or empty) Canada is until you've driven it!

I bought my first camera (a used Olympus OM-10) in 1994 before my first trip to England. I found out the hard way that owning a "good camera" didn't make you a "good photographer", as my photos were rather disappointing. This started me on this (On-again, Off-again) journey of wanting to master photography. This became very tiring for my wife, as I was always distracted on family vacations. A compromise had to be reached. So, I didn't necessarily get to drag everyone out for those "golden Light" hours, but instead tried to learn how to get what I was seeing with the light provided. But, my family has also learned to be patient when I say "hold on a minute, I see something". Now, if I can only get enough discipline to bring my tripod with me more...

Cheers!
