Typically F&F only. To be able to see my full photostream, you must request to be my friend. I am well aware of the dangers of the internet. Don't fave without commenting. If you have no photos for me to see in your stream, don't expect to be granted permission to see mine. I do block! I do not confirm you as a friend if you do not have photos for me to see.

My daughter was born in April of 2005, and with her my love for photography also saw its genesis. Prior to that life-transforming moment, I have always involved myself into creative endeavors. I wrote prose, danced and coreographed jazz routines, taught aerobics, and experimented learning belly-dancing. ;-)

I haven't had any formal training in photography or photoshop, but my techique has certaily become more sophisticated over the last two years. My eye is in training to capture the emotion overflowing a specific moment-in-time. Lately, I've also been experimenting with textures, desaturation, and other post-processing techniques.

Personally, I am fortunate to have been married to my best friend, partner-in-crime, and soul-mate. Believe it or not, we met online and my sister introduced us to one another. I paid back the favor by introducing her to the man who is her husband a year later! We only have our daughter and she brings joy to our everyday AND keeps us on our toes. I am almost done with my PhD in Psychology and Communication Sciences and Disorders from a university in Florida and am currently an Assistant Professor at a university in Tennessee. So, teaching is my job that brings the financial security to our lives and photography is the passion that brings joy to my heart. I am a daughter, sister, friend...and all those other roles we women play in our walk through life.
