BACKGROUND

 

Life's greatest moments are just a snap away.

 

How can we define the true nature of photography? Is it about following technicalities and formalities, where one is concerned that the important settings, adjustments, and numbers are accurate and correct? Is it probably about proper composition and choosing the right subject or the exact moment? Maybe, it could be just creative presentation and storytelling. Truly, there is no formal definition for the nature of photography, for it is something that varies from person to person.

 

However we may define the nature of photography, one thing is for certain. Photography, and how we create pictures, is something that we do for our own personal enjoyment and entertainment, whatever the reason may be. Because of this, photography is not merely limited to numbers, to composition, or to creative presentation. It is something more than that.

 

Welcome to Through the Glass Studios, a photography blog dedicated to reviving the true nature and spirit of photography. Anyone can become a photographer, and indeed, life's greatest moments are just a snap away.

 

I have created Through the Glass Studios as a portfolio and showcase of my personal photography work.

 

I am a hobbyist photographer based in the Philippines, specializing in landscape and street photography. Other hobbies and interests of mine include cars, illustration, listening to music, advertising, and business strategy and management.
