Embrace the darkness...💀

A little about me: I have had a passing interest in photography for as long as I can remember, but never really acted on it.

I'd owned a few cameras over the years, including an Olympus bridge camera in the late 00's, but none for the last decade since phone cameras were getting better and better.

But I always hankered after owning a "proper" camera again.

Fast forward to early '23, and I decided I can no longer put it off ! After a lot of research, I purchased a Fujifilm XS-10 with a 16-80mm lens as my first mirrorless camera!

Bear in mind that at this point I knew absolutely nothing about photography, hence why some of my earlier photos on here are a bit all over the place!

But that's one of the reasons I opened this account in the first place, I wanted to chart my progress from total beginner to where I am today, and where I will be tomorrow!

I have since developed a real passion for photography, and take my camera everywhere I go!

My favourite subjects are graveyards and churches and anything remotely gothic , but I also have a love of bleak landscapes, abandoned locations, bikes and bikers, classic cars, architecture, street, and a bit of everything else....

Black & White is my poison ☠️ of choice, but I will use colour if I feel the picture calls for it.
