I believe photography is something very personal. A lot of people might not appreciate your work but the pictures you took are using your perception and no one can copy them just like you cant copy others. This is best part of being a photographer or an artist. U r the god. U r creating a work out of ur own creativity, perception and thoughts. And that is why I believe every photo is trademark of ur thought.

U can always look at people's work and get inspired (that is why I am in flickr, I believe). But create ur own work. Doesn't have to have the exact exposure but just compose it in a way so that the viewers can see you through ur photos.
