A photographer since 1975, when I bought a Petri SLR camera. I shot mostly slide and black and white films during my high school and college years. When I left college, I moved into color film, with an occasional dabble with BW. Returned to BW photography with the advent of digital. Primarily a color photographer who loves the world of noir. I'm a generalist, as I enjoy photographing within many genres, but I'm also an advanced amateur, in the classical sense of amateur. Migrated from Petri to Minolta to Canon when my father died and I inherited his photography gear. Remained Canon when entering digital, but finally moved to Micro Four Thirds with Olympus. Using their OMD EM1 Mark II at present as I enter retirement.
