Taking photos used to be one of my favorite hobbies - since 2007 Flickr is another one!

You will not find videos here - I still do not like the idea that Flickr is allowing videos on a photo platform.

 

I am using Nikon equipment: D800 (since 2012) with MB-D12, also D7200 (since 2015) and D200 (since 2007) each with battery grip, D50, Tamron lenses 17-50mm, 18-200mm, 28-300mm VC, 70-300mm VC USD, 200-500mm, Nikon 50mm f/1.8D, Nikon 24mm f/2.8D, Nikon 14-24 f/2.8, 24-70 f/2.8, 70-200mm VR II f/2.8, 80-400G, Nikon SB-800, Gitzo and Manfrotto mono- and tripods) and sometimes the little Pentax Optio S or A20.

 

For some occasions I use a Canon G10 as it is compact and able to record in RAW format - but not for any "serious" kind of photography.

 

 

You will find a lot of photos related to aviation in my portfolio. There are more to come as I have a lot of work to do to upload, tag, describe and manage those pictures I have taken in the past. I am using a significant part of my spare time to work with Flickr, because I like to share my photos with you and to get feedback that hopefully helps to improve the quality of my pictures. Thanks to GDPR the number of public photos has reduced to about 30,000...sports photography is practically impossible since the new law was enforced in May 2018 as there is no such photography without showing people on the photos.

 

By the way: thanks to some popular wax figures from Madame Tussauds of London! They are to some extent responsible for pushing my statistics upwards. I hope that other pictures will reach this popularity soon!

 

To make things a little easier there will always be two sets filled up with my MOST and with my LEAST interesting photos. Maybe you should start with the latter ones...these sets will be renewed every day automatically (nice script!).
