You may see some Yiddish words in some comments I leave. The most common ones are tsoris (trouble), tsimmis (fuss), tuchas (butt) and pupik (belly button) but you should be able to figure most of them out by their placement. I'm not really fluent in Yiddish (yet) but one day...I might end up having to put a Yiddish glossary here!

geshmak = delicious

kish mir im tuchas = kiss my...well, you know!

zeeskeit = sweetie

shmeykel = smile

a dank = thank you

a sheynem dank = thank you very much

sheyne maidel = pretty girl

schmeer = bunch, a lot (of something)

drek = dooky, number two, s**t - you get it!

chazerei = BS (literally, pig's food)

mamzer = bastard, SOB, etc.

putz = same as above, just a nicer word (can also be used to mean putter around)

Oy vey! = Oh, no!

Oy gevalt! = Oh, my goodness! (also, heaven help [us, you, me, them] or same as oy vey)

boych = belly, stomach, gut, abs

bitteh = please

Hit zich! = Look out!

Es gefelt mir (nit) = I (don't) like it

Zorg zich nit = don't worry (about it)

shtik or shtick = stick, piece (also routine or procedure in some cases)

shtik drek = piece (of) s**t

farkakta - s**tty

I would like to thank every one of you who come to my photostream and invite you to share it with friends of yours who may not know about me or have me on their contact lists. I also would like to thank those of you who have added me as a contact or a friend. Your comments and Flickr mails are always welcome.

UPDATE 3-28-2007: I don't mind if you look at my photostream without leaving a comment on every single picture. I don't expect you to since it would take a lot of time. I also don't mind if you don't answer every comment I leave. I don't comment or answer all the time either.

I don't mind if you fave any of my pictures without leaving a comment. Some Flickrites are fussy about this but I'm not. If you like a picture I put up then please feel free to fave it. I try to thank everyone who faves one of my pictures.

However, there is one favor I would like to ask of you. If I leave a note or comment on any of your pictures, and for whatever reason you feel the need to delete or remove it, please show me the courtesy of telling me why you are doing so. I consider it rude to just delete these without explanation. I would show you the same courtesy. This has been happening a lot in the past couple weeks and it is very annoying. (Note: this does not apply to comments or notes you leave for me. You can remove or edit these and I won't mind.) And along these same lines, if you add me on as a contact, please be sure I am able to at least comment on your pictures. I actually have a couple contacts who added me, I did the same for them, and yet I can't even leave a comment on their pics.

The preceding also goes for any issues you may have with me. I far prefer to resolve things by talking them out rather than have any animosity or hostility involved. We all need to be friends here, or at least get along with one another! And don't expect me to take sides with anyone because that ain't happening!
