Marielle was the person to add me as a contact on flickr, so it seems fitting that I write my first testimonial for her. After following her work during her 365, she quickly has become one of my favorite photographers. Her portraits speak with raw honesty, and her landscapes are true and lovely. Somehow she finds ways to mix the two genres of photography and create magic. Whether it's a picture of herself, her best friend, or a dancer, or her writing, it all has the ability to make me feel in some way. Her progression, improvement, and consistent drive is inspiring in more ways than one. Marielle's art is gentle in nature, and strong in spirit, and it's blatant that she will take her talent far.

Marielle is extremely talented. I feel like her photography is a breath of fresh air to the flickr world. Her pictures stand out, and are insanely creative. Her "facial recognition" series is my favorite, due to the way she uses simple objects to create art. Keep up the amazing work! :)

Honestly, you are swiftly becoming my favorite photographer on this site. You have such a neat outlook on the world and on photography, and you don't limit yourself. It's refreshing and inspiring to see everything you post, and know that it is possible to just be that...good. I love how you frame things in photos. And how you can use a cliche, overused idea and make it into something brand new. It is utterly beautiful. And you, my friend, are utterly brilliant.
