It's been a nice first 10 years for me in photography. I remember as if it was yesterday, buying my OM-1 from two old guys just before leaving for New York City with my sister on a weekend trip. I really thought I would rock those photos... I did! Only, it was about 20 of them. And that's how I learned, fully manual SLR, and thinking that digital was cheating. I refused for a few years to even consider buying a digital camera, but in the end, I had to admit, it was pretty sweet to be able to see your shot right away. In 2003, I gave in, I bought a Canon Digital Rebel and I never looked back. New addition to the family are a Canon 5D MarkII and a 24-70mm f2.8 L lens that I am absolutely in love with since April 2011. I added a 70-200mm f/2.8L mkII in April 2013. A beast of a lens!

Trying to photograph things that inspire me, I love the light at the end of the day, buildings, people, animals, nature, etc. I prefer black and white over color... it seems to be easier for me. I like the fact that it leaves room for interpretation, for imagination... I have been photographing kids this summer, and I enjoy it a lot. I am learning about other lighting techniques, and off camera flash, and I am really enjoying it! I would like to work with models eventually, to be able to put my ideas in images.

Feel free to leave your comments on my photos, what you like, what you don't like, what could have been done, etc... that's how we learn right?! Constructive criticism more than welcome!
