French citizen, born in 1970. Opportunities to travel as a teacher. Living in Asia since year 2000.

In the 80's, as a teenager, I used to develop b&w pictures in a black room (my veterinary dad's operating room), on real "Ilford" paper: it was a family hobby. I was then using the "automatic" mode of the Canon AE1 that my parents offered to me as a Christmas present. Compact cameras when moving to Asia in the beginning of digital frenzy in years 2000-2010. In 2011 I bought a "serious" digital reflex (a D700, + a 50mm f1.4 optic) and finally started to use the manual settings; in 2012 I bought a second hand 28/70 optic. In 2019 I was rich enough to buy a D850, keeping the same optics.

Getting older, wanting to learn more from less equipment and more inspiration. I am here to admire and learn from Flickr buddies.

Please excuse my English: I (am trying my best to) write in this language, in order to be understood by as many people as possible, but it's not my mother tongue.
