Although my wife and I occasionally will try hard to take good photos,the majority of our photostream is family pictures and snaps. Our posts are for sharing with people and, to be blunt, for fire insurance. I've always feared losing all of our pictures, and this is one way to keep them safe.

But for us, Flickr is much more than just us posting our pix. It has a been a great and inexpensive way to get to see art created all over the world, to get to know the artists, and to feel a part of the greater human family. To our contacts: thank you for sharing your art. Our lives are more beautiful for it.
