The Wiedmann Bible became the work of Willy Wiedmann’s life. He worked on this hand-painted illustration of exceptional format and sensational extent for 16 years.

He was, however, never able to fulfil his dream of making the Bible accessible to the public before he died. Wiedmann, who had dedicated his life to the welfare of others, had the idea of making the Holy Bible accessible also to illiterates and people with reading disability.
