The Wholeheart is David Rothschild, a home musician and photographer who developed his chops and inspirations from free play in suburban forests. Meditaion, computer music, gritty love, nature, death, decay and melody are the driving forces behind his art. Dave grew up in Northern Virginia. It was here in suburban neighborhoods, forests, creeks, and ball fields that his free spirit and creative energy were born. He grew up in an end unit town home with his Father and Grandfather. His grandfather was passionate about classical music and that is where he developed his appreciation for melody and composition. Sitting next to his Grandfather and seeing the gleam in his eye while listening had a deep impact on him.
