Tumaini means hope in Swahili.

The Tumaini Project was set up in 2009, with the aim of improving a small nursery school in Tanzania.

Since then The Tumaini Project has expanded and is currently raising money for SWIWSCO orphanage, Tumaini school and the Tumaini scholarship fund.
