Hi! My name is Danielle, "TSF" (TheSynthFreq).

I am a freak about synthesizers, waveforms, sound design, synthesizer art and did I mention synthesizers? lol. I am also visually impaired and have some usable vision in my right eye. I use a variety of low vision lenses, telescopes, magnification lamps and special glasses to use my vision effectively. I also have a severe hearing loss in both ears and wear high power hearing aids. Both my vision and hearing impairment are a result of medical complications of being born 3 months premature.

All the artwork shown here on Flickr is original and inspired by my immense love of synthesizers, the 80s etc. I also write music. I am a self-taught musician for 20 years specializing in compositions using vintage Synthesizers of the 80s. I also study FM, LAS, Analogue subtractive, Phase distortion and Ph.M synthesis theories among others and apply them to my compositions. I also design all of the sounds I use in my music as well, original sounds, original music.
