i could probably take up this entire page with my love and appreciation for Jenn and her work. actually… i could take up one page on EACH! one just about her… and another just about her work. i have told her a number of times how closely and immensely her work affects me. to me, it is like when you are looking through, say, a pottery barn catalog and looking at their living room and thinking about how it totally speaks to your soul…how you think that it is exactly the way you see your dream house. well, Jenn’s photos are like that to me. some of her shots, her compositions, her processing and her style are like they are being ripped out of my own cerebellum (or would they come from my cerebrum?). i absolutely adore her art… and i say that in FULL meaning of the word art. if i had not wanted to be a photographer before, this is the kind of photostream that would likely make me drop whatever else i was wasting my time on to take it up. the level of intimacy created by Jenn’s work is incomparable. she can make you feel like you are right there in her home with her (oh, to be in a house with SUCH a magic window!!) and like you have been close friends with her for years through certain photographs. her openness with her life steals my breath often times. her passion for life makes my heart work as though i was running windsprints. her generosity and selfless lovingkindness are just more attributes that i can only strive to emulate in my own daily life. her unfailing love for her child is an inspiration to me as i wait to become a parent. i used to be a little envious of anyone who could be counted as her friend or family or basically had her in their life in any way. now i am happy, blessed and truly fortunate to say that i envy myself a little now in that regard.
