We would like to take this opportunity to introduce the The Saviour, a charitable foundation under the auspices of Metropolitan Hilarion, New York, USA.

The concept of "The Saviour" had evolved from our desire and determination to assist those most needed in major areas such as health, education, food supply and other vital areas of everyday life.

Our primary mission has always been and will continue to be as follows:

•To restore and maintain the traditions and the religious practices of the Christian Orthodox faith among Russian immigrants in the United States.

•To provide spiritual and practical relief by arranging for in-kind contributions of goods and services from public and private sectors, match them with established needs and provide a conduit for humanitarian aid to those with the most critical needs regardless of their faith or country of residence.

The core of our donors and aid providers consists of the well-known medical, religious and humanitarian organizations, registered, but not affiliated with the Government. All our projects are based on principles of respect to local laws and regulations of a recipients country and non-interference with politics or ideology.

Благотворительный Фонд «Спас» основан в 2008 году по благословению Митрополита Илариона.

Цель фонда – проведение в жизнь проектов, направленных на формирование и укрепление в человеке духовных основ, позитивного и конструктивного отношения к исконно русским традициям, сохранение исторической, культурной и духовно-нравственной преемственности между поколениями, святынь Русского зарубежья.

Основные направления деятельности Фонда охватывают собой самые разные области общественной жизни. Это миссионерская работа, помощь в сохранении и реставрации святынь Русского зарубежья, работа с подрастающим поколением: создание образовательных учреждений и Православных лагерей отдыха, оказание помощи детям-инвалидам, издательская деятельность и активное использование новых информационных технологий.

При Фонде создана паломническая служба.
