First of all... I'm not a street photographer as I like to shoot anything I see and find interesting (to me at least). Instead I call my self an urban photographer and consequential doesn't have to use super wide, color, flash, hi-contrast and weird composition.

Started shooting seriously in the late 1970, with a long break during 1990-2005 as I started my own company.

For me photography is mostly about the content. I never really explain whet my pictures are about, so it is up to the viewer to find the story/content within the shot. I never crop any image, analog or digital as I strongly believe that the viewer should see what I saw when I press the shutter.

I'm foremost and analog photograph but trying to use digital more and more, but find most of the digital cameras to complicated and slow to operate (often they lack essential controls as focus, aperture, time and depth-of-field scale). I also find digital cameras suffers from shutter lag, even when not using the auto-focus!

I got a bunch of analog cameras I can pick from dependent of my mode and what I suppose to encounter. Normally I work with lenses between 28 and 50 mm where the 35mm is my favorite lens.

For travel I often use my Contax G2 witch I both love and hate at the same time, but it got just something I can't explain.

Shoot with Tri-X, T-Max, HP-5 or Delta-400 often exposed at 800 ISO. Develop myself and scan through a Konica/Minolta scanner and post editing in Lightroom.

Hi ! Nice introduction. I agree with your views, simply walking and watching, open to all the events of city life, whatever they may be, remain the best ways to take interesting pictures... (Sorry for my poor english.)
