thesaltr is an Oakland-based activist who photographs the surroundings as a means to document the activity of urban artists amidst the landscape of modernity.

a half-year stay in copenhagen served as thesaltr’s initial inspiration to photograph graffiti/street art. specifically, it was the timeless days spent in Christiania, whose brilliant murals saturate the smokey streets, that instilled thesaltr’s drive to capture the expression of freedom, justice, and self, through art.
