Located in San Luis Obispo, County of California. I have been an avid amateur photographer most of my adult life. I literally have 10's of thousands of slides I have taken over the years and have been scanning some of these for my digital library.

In the late 90's I started shooting digital. It wasn't until about 2002 that I started shooting more digital than film (kodachrome was my film of choice).

I love the world of digital photography and all the software and equipment that makes it so much easier to express my photographic vision of a scene.

Just recently, I have started cataloging and processing older images along with my newer ones. The more I learn about the processing of images, the more images I process.

I love shooting landscapes, and love the HDR effect. You will notice by a lot of my photos that I really enjoy COLOR.

I am a 5th generation Californian (descended from 49er's), and my family has been in SLO County since the late 1800's.

Genealogy and History are also my hobbies.

I invite honest and constructive feedback on any or all of my photos. I am always willing to listen to others comments... This is how I grow. My photography is one of my artistic outlets and being such, what you see may not have the same meaning to you that it did to me. I don't always feel compelled to explain my shots... Take a guess, you might feel what I felt when the photo was made... Or not! but let me know what, if anything, my photos do for you!
