I don't know why I never wrote you a testimonial. But I have always seen something very unique and extraordinary in your work. It's not necessary what photos you take, or what words you write (which are both phenomenal), but very much the person that lies screaming behind them. When I go through your stream I always see one thing strewn throughout everything- courage. You are a woman of bold courage, who is not afraid to be nothing but exactly who you are how you are. You aren't afraid to embrace everything that kills you and you aren't afraid to share it with us through your art. And that is the definition of a true artist. Meagan you are one of the biggest reasons why I've personally continued to write and take photos like I have; you've shown me the beauty in exposing your inmost self to the world. It takes a kind of faith and bravery that's really remarkable. I hope you are one day published, and I hope that your family starts to see how brilliant you are. Meagan: There are some streams I browse through on grey days, again and again, when the wind is too high for photographs and the rain would soak the film, and those are the days when I find myself back here, reading these photographs and reading these words. This is the stream which speaks to me, whispers and shouts, and makes me want to run and climb and shoot. This girl has been hurt and she has fought and she has won, and she has been making photographs the whole time to prove it. If there is cotton in their ears she shows them with her images, and if their eyes are closed she’ll tell them with her words. She leaves them to find her meaning for themselves between the lines and the pixels, and when they do: it’s a gift. She gives them out in small parcels. She keeps me coming back. And she would write this better than me.

I've been wanting to write you a testimonial for a long time now, and have only just found some words that will somehow begin to describe my love for your work. You put so much intense, passionate emotion into your work that sometimes it scares me. I cannot begin to imagine the pain you portray in your work, nor can I believe the beauty of the other emotions you show, be it happiness or anger or fear or love or hope. It is your vulnerability that I think strikes me the most. That's not to say that you are weak, but rather that it shows that you are not afraid to show your fragility, which takes incredible strength in itself. You are one of my favorite flickr contacts, because when I look at your work, I don't just see with my eyes; I feel with my heart and soul.
