This is all drBenMonkey's fault - he was the one who convinced me to get a Nikon D40... and I am eternally grateful :)

Well I am still a newbie to this and so any hints and tips are great. I am thoroughly enjoying looking at what other people do on Flickr and am constantly amazed at the quality of photographers out there.

When not looking at flickr I do science.
