I'm a modest, middle aged broad who absolutely loves taking photos.

I try to make the most out of life and have no problem slowing down and taking the time to really see and appreciate the beauty around me.

I try wherever possible to capture that beauty and share it with others.

Could be described as having an artistic temperament, am stubborn at times, I love to laugh and have fun and I rarely act my age.

I've worked with 'point and shoot' cameras in the past, then worked my way up to a digital slr in the Canon series, and I am currently shooting with the Canon 550D.

I love to experiment and shoot a variety of different subjects and am hoping to find my own particular "niche."

I've met a lot of great people here on flickr, and appreciate the knowledge and friendship they've shared!
